Yesterday I had the chance to visit the house we are building for David. The pictures aren’t the best quality, but Nhlanhla and Bitwell (two experienced builders who work with us) are making progress! 

Nhlanhla told me he too is an orphan. He lost his parents when he was eleven years old. He told me God has protected him from getting in trouble and he’s made a good life for himself. He can identify with David.

David was at school while we were at the work site.  Nhlanhla told me David helps the family he is staying with now sell apples in town every afternoon.Nhlanhla spoke with this family about David helping build the house during the upcoming two week school break. I’m excited that David will be involved in the construction of his house!
